Jordan Jalen Evans, who goes by Jalen and is pictured at left, is among the students who majored in psychology and earned their bachelors degree with the completion of the spring 2016 semester. Jalen credits the support of her mother, Anna Garcia (pictured at right with Jalen), as key to her success throughout her education. As a first generation graduate of high school as well as college, Jalen has set the course for a new trajectory for her family and is an inspiration to many others. Her achievements are even more notable for having been attained at the age of 19 and without accumulating any student debt.
