UNT will be closed November 26th & 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. If you have questions about your application, please email PSYC-Grad@unt.edu, and we will respond when our office re-opens on Monday, November 30th.
JULY 2020 COVID-19 UPDATE: The Psychology Department has decided to waive the GRE score requirement for Fall 2020 applications. Applicants to the three programs in psychology who submit by the December 1, 2020 deadline for admission to the Fall 2021 cohort are NOT required to include GRE scores with their applications.
You can apply to our graduate programs at https://apply.psychology.unt.edu.
We are accepting applications starting September 1. The deadline to apply is December 1.
Tips for Applying
Saving vs. Submitting: The save/submit button is only a save button until the application portal closes on December 1. You can still edit your application until the portal closes on the deadline. The information and documents attached to your application when the portal closes are what will be downloaded and reviewed as your application file.
Submitting Letters of Recommendation: If your recommenders are having trouble submitting their letters directly to the application portal, please have them email their letters to PSYC-Grad@unt.edu.
GRE Scores: ETS reports official scores to the UNT Graduate Admissions office. The code for this is 6481. Applicants can also upload unofficial copies to the application portal for program faculty to review.
Transcripts: Official transcripts should be sent to UNT's Toulouse Graduate Admissions office. Unofficial copies should also be uploaded to the department application for program faculty to review.
