Psychology Department TI Incoming Student Award*

- Awarding Department: Psychology Department
- Department Contact: PSYC-Grad@unt.edu
- The applicant must be a student accepted to, or enrolled in a graduate program in the Psychology Department at the University of North Texas.
- Major: Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Behavioral Science
- Meet minimum admission requirements of the graduate programs in Psychology.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on all graduate coursework undertaken at UNT.
- Maintain full-time student status while receiving scholarship funding. This will require the student to enroll in a minimum of nine graduate hours per long semester. Summer enrollment will be determined by the student's advisor.
- Maintain good academic standing while receiving scholarship funding. Funding may be withdrawn if the recipient is placed on academic probation.
- FAFSA: Required
- Selective Service Registration: Required
- Recipients will be required to sign a scholarship agreement.
- Eligibility: Only students who have not received awards from other sources at UNT will be considered.
*The amount of the scholarship award and the number of awards will be determined annually. May not be awarded every year.
Award: $1,000 ($500 fall semester/$500 spring semester)
Application: Available from December 20th to March 5th.
Deadline to Apply: March 5th.
