Frankie Rivera

She is pursuing a B.S. in psychology with minors in criminal justice and music. She was born in New York City but has lived in the greater Houston area most of her life. She is the first in her family to attend college, and after graduation, hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Frankie’s research interests include acculturation, cultural effects on human relationships, child and developmental psychology, in addition to how these fields relate to forensic psychology. In her free time, Frankie enjoys playing the euphonium, reading, trying new foods, and watching TV.

Rosa Montoya 

Rosa Montoya is a psychology student pursuing a B.S. in psychology with aspirations to earn a master’s degree in occupational therapy. Born in Oklahoma City and raised primarily in Texas, she is the first in her family to attend college. Her research interests include gendered upbringing in families, child development, gender studies, Latinx psychology, and acculturation. In her free time, Rosa enjoys watching TV shows, drawing, baking, eating sweets, and reading.

Mai Le

Mai is a junior undergraduate student at the University of North Texas. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Psychology, with a minor in counseling. Her research interests include attachment styles in children of immigrant families, identity development patterns in multicultural individuals, and intersectionality. Outside of school, Mai enjoys embroidery,  going to art markets, and reading. In addition, she likes to be involved in the community, and volunteers at The Art Room during her free time.  Mai Le photo
