Dr. Bert Hayslip and Dr. Greg Smith at Kent State Univ. received a $2.7M grant from NIH/National Institute of Nursing Research, which will run from 2010-2014. It is a multi-site (Ohio, Texas, California, Maryland) study focusing on the efficacy of distinct interventions on custodial grandparents; UNT's share of this 2.7M is approximately $560,000 over the 4 year time period.
