The Levin-Aspenson Lab focuses on advancing the understanding and measurement of psychopathology. The lab’s research goals broadly involve investigating dimensional approaches to psychopathology, particularly using models such as the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology [HiTOP]. Our current students' projects currently involve:

  1. Identifying core and lower-order features of maladaptive personality domains (i.e., Anankastia)
  1. Analyzing the likely impact of dimensional models on mental health stigma
  1. Examination of psychopathology and different areas of functioning
