Cynthia Diep
Cynthia is a second-generation immigrant raised by a Chinese-Vietnamese household in Richardson, Texas. They are the oldest child and graduated from Plano East Senior High in May 2021. Cynthia is currently in their second year at UNT as a junior pursuing a B.S. in Psychology, and their research interests include multicultural developmental psychology and people of color mental health. In their own time, Cynthia dances, watches anime, sings, and thinks about food.

Sarah Carruth
Sarah is currently pursuing her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in English. She is originally from the Greater Toronto Area, but has spent most of her life in North Texas. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master's degree in counseling psychology with a longer-term goal of earning a PhD. Inspired by her young daughter, Sarah's research interests include attachment theory, parent-child relationships, and how culture and community involvement affect mental health across the developmental lifespan. Sarah enjoys reading, crocheting, collecting vinyls, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Maria Pilar Navarro
I am a first-generation Mexican American, born in California but lived most of my life in Texas. I am the first in my immediate family to complete a bachelor's degree. I am a Junior at UNT pursuing a BS in Psychology. My long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. degree in counseling. My research interests include acculturation, the effect that immigration has on mental health, and substance usage. I enjoy re-watching Modern Family, reading books, working out, and playing LEGO Star Wars on my Switch.
