August 2021 Patrick Love has completed his internship and accepted a position with the VA Medical Center in Washington DC. Andrew Dimmick was awarded the Donald K. Freedheim Student Development Paper Award by APA Division 29. Princess Braggs has begun her internship year, with her dissertation already successfully defended, and has joined the Society for Black Neuropsychology Executive Board's Mentorship, Education, and Training (MET) Committee. Dr. Nicki Aubuchon-Endsley is now an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Tulsa. |

September 2020 Dr. Callahan and Dr. Ruggero have been named Co-Directors for the UNT Center for Psychosocial Health Disparities Research. Recognizing the major demographic shifts underway in Texas and the ongoing and persistent geographic and racial/ethnic differences in health, the overarching purpose of the Center for Psychosocial Health Disparities Research (CPHDR) is to help redress racial, ethnic and geographic health disparities in Texas and promote psychosocial health. A primary focus is on the link between mental and physical health. |
