Dr. Sewell Named Interim Vice President for Research and Economic Development

Dr. Kenneth Sewell (Clinical Program), has been appointed as the Interim Vice President for Research and Economic Development. UNT President, V. Lane Rawlins, noted that "Dr. Sewell will be responsible for leading a substantial body of work in the months ahead as we navigate this legislative session and our request for tuition revenue bonds for a new research building, prepare for upcoming university budget hearings, and ensure advancements in the university’s high performance computing facilities.

Dr. Sewell’s experience as the division’s associate vice president for the past five years and his commitment to strengthening the division’s operational effectiveness and support for all forms of research and scholarly activities at UNT will ensure that we continue to advance the research success of our students and faculty members."
