Spanish Enhancement Initiative Launched

SEPA (Spanish Enhancement Psychology Association) is a student-led group aimed at enhancing graduate students' comprehension of the Spanish language and preparing them for working with Latino/as in therapeutic and assessment settings. The group will integrate discussion, books, articles, films, speakers, and role play to allow for practice speaking Spanish for a professional setting. SEPA is open to motivated psychology graduate students and faculty. The group will be held entirely in Spanish, so basic proficiency is recommended. SEPA is respectful and understanding of all levels of competence. The group meets monthly on Fridays at 6pm. If you are interested in joining please email: Melissa Connally at melissalondono@my.unt.edu or Daniela Caballero at danielacaballero@my.unt.edu.
