Dr. Daniel Taylor Invited to DCoE

Dr. Daniel Taylor has been invited to be a subject matter expert for a Department of Defense Center of Excellence workgroup to determine clinical reccomendations for the management of sleep disturbances in mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI).

The meeting is scheduled for October 23-24, 2012 at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) in Bethesda, Maryland.

The primary objective of the committee is to provide guidance to health care providers in theatre and primary care providers in military treatment facilities and clinics with reccomendations for on how to diagnose and manage sleep disturbances associated with acute and sub-acute concussion. Dr. Taylor has been invited to participate because of his extensive experience diagnosing and treating insomnia both in-person and online in active duty military as well as in veterans.
